The former Boise Cascade site in downtown Salem will be entering a new stage of development that will surely compliment the newly built South Block Apartments. Marquis Companies, headquarted in Portland, will be developing a post acute rehabilitation facility.  First Commercial represented Marquis in the purchase of the North Block site.  We then brokered the sale of a portion of Marquis' site to Park Front LLC.

Park Front LLC will be building a 27,000 square-foot commercial building. TJ Sullivan, co-owner of Huggins Insurance is part of Park Front LLC, which has several investors. He says construction for the $8.5 million building will begin in the summer of 2016 and finished by May 2017.  The construction of this building will be undertaken by local contractor, Rich Duncan Construction.

The new building is named Park Front and will be the new home to Huggins Insurance and Northwest Financial Advisors, A Financial Advisor Practice of Ameriprise Financial Services, Inc.. The triangular shape of the site lends itself perfectly to house Park Front which will have a similar feel to the narrow, flat topped style of New York City’s Flatiron Building.
